tea party

When people from different cultures and different times, who have never interacted, agree on something, chances are they've got it pretty well figured out. Very interesting how he explains Conservatism, and how it perfectly compliments and meshes with the teachings of Taoism: Trying to fight (human) nature will always be an ultimately fruitless endeavor.

Today, no group will ever be legitimate, and therefore capable of real long term change across the political spectrum, unless they are 100% secular. The tea party had a great thing going, rooted in an infallible Constitutional Natural Law ideology, but then they were hi-jacked by the christian fundies. In your videos you speak of personal liberty and the evils of one man telling another how to live, and then the fundies contradict you by injecting their own morality and expectations of limiting the personal liberty of others. So very sad to have such a potential force watered down and made nearly impotent.
