No. Sometimes Inmates and Wardens disappear without any warning. It's not a comment on your competence or attentiveness; there's nothing you could have done to prevent it. It's just another one of the Barge's....quirks.

I'd be happy to keep an eye on your system.

And - please don't take offense - do you have experience with complex holographic systems?

In my time here I've reverse-engineered a hologram not unlike yourself and a holographic communication device, and have since been working on improving them. My understanding of the underlying systems and related problems is quite extensive. So, yes. I have. And reassignments can happen at random as well. If the Admiral didn't have faith in your competenc you wouldn't be here.
