Sweet Nelson Mandela! It's been quite a while since I've last said or done anything on here, no? Well, quite a lot has happened since whenever it was when I stopped writing. Let me explain, chitlins!
Well, just to brag, I beat Final Fantasy X a few months ago. This is totally irrelevant, but oh well. After 6 years, I finally conquered it! Haha! (I kinda suck at beating RPG's very quickly. At all.) But, I guess I got really wrapped up in the storyline, because I cried for, like, 10 minutes at the ending. I must admit, though, it was kinda sad. Or maybe I'm just a bit of a wuss...(tee-hee)
Also, I'd like to bring up another event worth bragging about: I saw Dir En Grey live in Milwaukee last November. T'was a night of bourbon and blood! There were images from that evening that I will take to the grave with me! Can you think of anything more beautiful?! They started the concert with "Obscure," which was 2,689,374,611 times more insanely divine than I have ever heard it before! Ah, I even bought a bouquet of pink and red flowers before going to that show. At the end of "Obscure," some girls in front of me were like, "hey, did you bring flowers for them? And what's up with your costume?" (I was dressed in a ripped up tuxedo.) So, I was like, "This is all I could get for them at the moment. I'm going to throw my bouquet to them to show my love!" Hehe... So the girls kinda giggled and they were like, "Are you gonna propose or something?" I laughed and said, "Man, if I had enough rings (or any ring at all) I would just climb up on stage and propose to them all! Haha!" They started jumping around all fan-girlishly and started shouting, "ooh! Who's your favorite!?" That's quite a question to ask! It's like going up to a group of INCREDIBLE, AMAZING people and saying which one you love the most. But, I gave up on thinking and just went with which member I thought was the prettiest and said, "Toshiya. Yeah, probably Toshiya." Hah! I bet you thought I was going to say Shinya! Anyway, they went on and on about Kyo and Kaoru until I slowly moved away from them and jumped into the mosh pit. By the end of Glass Skin, I threw my bouquet...AND IT LANDED ON SHINYA'S DRUM-SET!! It was craziness! Their last song was IIIrd Empire, which was incredible! The band would go back stage for breaks every now and then, but Kyo stayed on stage the whole show and did these haunting vocal solos between breaks! I was enchanted, to say the least. By the end of the show, I got in line and gave my present to their translator (I had drawn a big picture of this horribly mutated and mutilated guy without any eyes, and I wrote DIR EN GREY in really creepy letters at the top. Then, Die and Kaoru signed my copy of the Uroboros album!! It was only a few moments of being face to face with them, but I proudly said "Arigatou gozaimasu!" to each of them and took in their kind smiles. I was in a VERY raptured sort of trance for the next month or so, and I'll never forget it!
Milwaukee's a really great place, too! Kinda cold.
I used to have a full-line up with my band Kawaii Shigai, but I keep enduring complication after complication and (once again) remain the only member of the band. I have LOTS of help from Ikari, though.
My ex-girlfriend is becoming obsessed with him now, which is kinda funny. She's pathetically staggering from one man to the next without hesitation. She occassionally asks me to take her back and then has a panic attack and psycho-freakout everytime I say "no." I don't get it; she's a really shallow person, so I find it strange how she continues to act this way. She didn't seem to like anything about me but my looks the whole time we dated, so there's not much she should want from me. Very, very shallow.
I started making some outlines for mangas I plan to write. One of them (Blue Odyssey) was mentioned in my last article (I think), but my other one is untitled. I'm thinking of calling it "Black Hole" or something like that. It's about this guy who is a medic during a war. The opposing army is a band of psycho-mutants! Well, lots of people die without his aid and he has to fight on his own (which he has no experience with). It's better than it sounds, I'm just bad at explaining things. Aside from that, I finally started working on 2 different mangas called "Green Mirage" and "Cannibal Fat Cats." Both are supposed to be used for a single volume as a side-by-side sort of horror story series. It will be two new stories in each volume.
I recently had a flashback to a day at school, when I saw a girl faint and split her skull on the floor in the halls. Everybody gathered around her, kinda scared and confused, ya know? Somebody called a teacher out and more people gathered around. Eventually, the girl regained consciousness and started making these weird wimpering sounds. People from the hospital came into the halls after a couple minutes and took her out on a stretcher. It was crazy. She broke her nose really badly and there was blood. It's kinda funny though, because I had been sitting around blankly staring at the back of a cereal box, and THAT somehow triggered the memory. Hehe...
After that period, we had a tornado drill, too. Don't know how I remembered that much.
I found my Earthworm Jim VHS last night. Yippee! I also rented the whole first season of Tales From Crypt. Oh, yeah!
Well, tomorrow will be the final day of my 4-day weekend, so I'll try to stay in touch with this book of memoirs. Au revoir!
P.S. - Today is the birthday of Maimai from the JRock band "Eternal Gage."
