GOD DAMN IT!
Ok everyone, it's official: my apartment SUCKS! While I still have heat, this time I have ANOTHER problem. My washer just ATE my sheets! I managed to salvage the pillow cases and the fitted sheet, but my flat sheet is hopelessly stuck UNDERNEATH the agitator. HOW THE HELL DOES THAT HAPPEN! I've made another call to the landlords and hopefully they can fix my washer too. Thanks to a fellow med. student that lives a few apartments down I can rinse what's left of my laundry and dry it so I don't have a pile of wet stuff sitting in my sink. Joy.
So let's see, that's a leaking refrigerator, a broken furnace, and now a sheet-eating washing machine all within the last 2 months. Renting sucks! Hopefully my few remaining months here in Carbondale will be better, but my track record isn't very good so far.
