It's been a Long Time...

It has been quite some since i've updated, I know. With school coming to an end, and all the work that professors like to unload at the end of the semester, I just have caught up in the mix.
I am officially done with school and graduate next Sunday. I'm really excited now. My whole family will be out here to celebrate with me! Yeah!

I went to a stp show a few weeks ago, and all I have to say is that step shows in Boston do not compare to those in California, and I'm including probate shows on campus. At first, I was all excite about it because I have not been to one since I was living in LA, and I wanted to see what New England had to offer. Second of all, the flier said that it was the biggest step show in New Englad, so I assumed that it was gonna be on point. WRONG!
The first thing that did not make any sense was that not all the sororities stepped. Only the AKAs and the SGRhos performed. Who ever heard of a step show where everyone didn't step? Okay, fine. The second thing that boggled my mind was that the fraternities that stepped were not on point. I mean, don;t get me wrong, i can understan a mess up here and there, but these were just completely ridiculous. It was like no one practiced before hand. I do have to give it to the Sigmas though, they were only ones out there that were on point, and they deserved to win. But who ever heard of Sigmas winning the step show ( not that there is anything wrong with that) Step ur game up kids!
Another thing that I noticed about all the people that stepped was that they all seemed young, I mean, they were all still in undergrad. Now, from what I remember in LA, people, both undergrad and graduate members on each team were apart of the show. It just seemed to me like a bunch of freshman were competing, which was not that great to watch. I should have known that it was not gonna be that great, it was only $5 to get in...;)

On another note, I hreatly had the chance to experience The Alvin Ailey Dance Theater. It was wonderful! It was just great to see such a performance! And for cheap! I was able to get tickets through my job for $10! I know that the show was worth way more than that, hey, i'm a poor college student! lol
