solo show in the works

hi there chums,

as you may or may not be aware of, i'm trying to arrange a show. the singers will be playing solo with an acoustic guitar or piano, or whate'r. the players i'm looking for are people who normally sing for a gigging/working band.

if this is something you'd be interested in participating in please get in touch with me! i want to look at cafes or smaller venues and have a great night of quiet-ish music in a supportive environment.

set times will be up to about 20 minutes each, covers and collaborations welcome! i don't want this to feel like an open mic... come support your fellow musicians! players are welcome to play their own material or material from their band if they wish!

i will be playing a short set of my own material with my guitar. please provide a sample of work/your band's myspace or music page and rough dates of availability.

i was hoping to put on a similar show as the show that the winks put on last year. it was called "masturbating" and various vancouver musicians played solo.
