Just a short update.
I'm going under the knife tomorrow morning, Friday, to get some work done on my leg. There's a few minor spots of deterioration that I need to have dealt with, and while they're in there, the surgeon is going to see if he can possibly do any reconstructive work as well.
I'm expected to be under house arrest -- ha ha, funny, I know -- for two weeks minimum. Or until I can convince them to let me go back to work. I need to be kept in a controlled enviroment so I don't fuck myself over.
This procedure won't do much in terms of healing old damage, but if it works, I have a chance at possibly some new tissue growth. Or it could go wrong and I'll be worse off. It's expected to take a few hours, I'll spend a night at the hospital in recovery, maybe two, then I hope to be able to go home.
It's going to be a long two weeks.
No, this isn't a plea for toys, though LEGOS are always appreciated. No balloons, no stuffed things, and no flowers, please. I'm allergic anyways, I think.
Also, don't start waiting for the will just yet, I'm not planning on going anywhere.
