Today after nearly 2 weeks of not fucking with my seemingly shot computer I turned it on and it worked perfectly ho ho ho... my lucky fuckin day! Got all my music backed up onto the hard drive too... eeexxxxcellent...
On and a news update in the fictional realm, I scrapped my old zombie story and I've started fresh again. It's tenatively titled Single Bullet Theory. Updates on that will be coming soon.
For once silence in the apartment. No banging or thumping around or loud music coming through the floor or the ceiling. It's time to relocate to better quarters. This adult dorm of a zoo just won't suffice any longer.
Hopefully in a few weeks time the assisstant and I will be moving into a much better much more secure and self sufficient domicile. Not really looking forward to the move itself but itll be a fuckton easier than getting out here at first was. Just across town and the promise of freight elevators instead of stairs is a godsend. Not to mention people helping with that ungodly huge Lincoln-Logs-on-steroids-size bed. Vanity thy name shall be space and lots of it.
Once the new outpost is established it'll be down to business, more work will be done. I'm getting my writing honed back to a katana's edge again, trying to utilize my unemployment time to get some of the creative juices flowing during the transitional period. I can't wait for the new changes.
The tides have been changing, things are starting to grow and things are looking up. I'm anxious to get where I'm going, it's exciting like waiting for Christmas almost.
Party time on Friday! Woohoo! I've been itching to cut loose and have some fun.
And goddamn it's nice to have a nice functioning running computer... finally after months of a shitty one and then a few weeks of this one on the fritz. Not a one reboot or lost posting so far!! Score!!!!
