Ohhh, he was in a theatre version of The History Boys? Just saw the film recently myself and enjoyed it very much!

Aiming for being a bad guy, huh? Kinda love that! There is a freedom in playing a villian. Too bad I'll never see this *frowns*. Never saw the original, but it being turned into a musical - might work in an odd way...

Yeah, he was in the UK touring company. It's how he knows James Corden. :) I saw the Broadway (NY) production with a lot of amazing people (including James, Russell Tovey, Dominic Cooper, Sacha Diwan, Richard Griffiths, Frances De La Tour, and Stephen Campbell Moore), but no Matt.

Ahhh - a lot of the people who were in the film itself! Wonderful!! Too bad that there was no Matt - but he must have been busy playing the Doctor at the time.

Yeah, the majority of the stage cast were in the film (if not all). The story was slightly different between the play and the stage, but they're both really good. I think that was all pre-Doctor, but I can't remember now.

I'm still kicking myself for not seeing Matt and Lindsay Duncan (from "Waters of Mars") in That Face when it was playing. I was over in London, but it sounded so weird and dark that I couldn't convince myself, even though Matt (who was unknown then) was getting rave reviews.

Hmmm...would be. Give it a bit of a shake-up - love it when they do that for stories: film goes one way, play goes another.

Arrghhh! Missed opportunity!
