I'm kind of glad that I shelled out for the seperate parts of s7, if only to have legit copies to watch before the complete season was released given how long it's taken to come out. The first 5 episodes of the series will be a year old by then, and the first Christmas Special even older than that. I won't be selling off the earlier sets until I am 100% sure that I won't be losing any extra stuff.

I honestly think that one of the reasons S7 didn't go over as well with the fans (including the response to Clara) is because we didn't see the beyond the scenes stuff and didn't get to see her and Matt connect the way we did with Matt & Karen and Matt & Arthur and Matt & Arthur & Karen & Alex. :-/

I've been seeing rumours that the Proms might be released on dvd as well -- I really really wish that both the 2008 and 2010 shows would be released in their full glory. I know at least one of them was released in a cutdown version on one of the Gap Year Specials (was it "The Next Doctor"?), but it would be nice to see the whole thing uncut! (Well, on a proper dvd or blu-ray. ;))

can't say I'm impressed -- and I'm also slightly peeved that Rory's been relegated to a tiny head coming out of Amy's hip! I'm of the opinion that he should have equal status to all the other companions.
