How do you figure that? A weekend pass for Chicago TARDIS is $90 and a weekend pass for Gallifrey One is $80 now and $90 at the door. £99 is $160 US without anything extra and that's for one day, from 9am to 6pm. Most US cons run programming from 9 am to midnight, if not later.
It looks like it is a 2 day con until you look at the actual page where they say it's 2 1-day cons that are exactly the same. £99 isn't terrible for 2 days, but it's still spendy by comparison to some US cons, esp when they run 3 days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and run a lot later than 6pm.
That said, you're paying to see Matt for a start. (I can't consider paying huge amounts to see the Moff, if only because he used to come to Gallifrey One in the past so, ha, I've seen him.)
Starfury event is way better value it has Matt as well yeah he is only there for 1 day but it's a weekend con £90 and you get all autos included and parties at night and the hotel always has discount food and special rates. http://seanharry.com/11/index.htm They have also being doing events for 10 years. I've been to a lot of events a official event is going to be crazy and this event is they first one so no experience. Make sure you read the ticket information you have to pick either a auto OR a photo you can't have both with Matt with the official event.
