  1. What is your Gender?
  2. The bedroom scene in Flesh & Stone and the ‘permission to hug’ scenes have highlighted the issue of if Doctor Who is being sexist. How far do you think this is true?
  3. What is your view of the representation of women in Doctor Who? Are Amy and River realistic or good role models?
  4. In terms of personality and attitude, with whom did you identify with more during series five; Rory or Amy?  
  5. Why was this and has this changed since series 6?
  6.  What influences from other TV shows and films can you see upon Doctor Who’s current companions?
  7. Do you think female companions in the new series are portrayed differently than in classic who? If so, how? And why has this change been made?
  8. What do you think about the way The Doctor treats the TARDIS as if it were a woman? 
  9. Should the next Doctor be a woman? Why/Why not?
