Pimping: New Eleven Empire Fic Community
Whovians! We have a new community for you.
Because elevenfic is a bit out of date in style and format (and the mod seems to have disappeared; all attempts to contact her have been to no avail) we would very much like your fic at eleven_fic .
What will you get by joining us here? Well, it's pretty, oh so pretty. Just take a look. But that's not all...
Weekly prompting posts and regular ficathons. An active community that encourages communication. TAGS. Why tags? Because we want you to be found. Lurkers wandering in looking for just Doctor/Rory fic, for instance, will be able to find, read and comment on your fic without wading though a massive amount of posts.
We are very welcoming of fanart and encourage fic-art and pod fics. If you love a fic so much you would like to contribute your art or your voice to it, bring it here. (Ask the author first, of course.)
What kind of fic can you post? Anything goes. Gen, friendship, general mayhem, adventure (when is there not adventure in Doctor Who?)
But can I post my smutty stuff, you ask? YES. All kinds of kinks are welcome. Bring us your PWP.
If you are looking exclusively for fics of an adult nature, then visit our sister community, dont_wander_off , where readers may find what they are looking for faster. Authors may certainly cross-post both here and there. dont_wander_off , has been around for a while now, but we've given it a new look, retrospectively tagged everything, and we will be running prompts and ficathons alongside eleven_fic .
To kick us off we will be hosting ficathons for new writers. Always wanted to write a fic but a bit intimidated? Never written smut before, but there's a ship you just have to write? We're here to help. Instructions and rules will be posted soon.
We will also need kind and encouraging betas for this, so keep a look out! Mods will be available to gently guide you into all of time and space. Where do you want to start?
