I think the whole 'gay agenda' term itself has become a bit of a trope/joke within the Doctor Who community. The way it's played out in the episode is quite subtle IMO.

There are people, particularly those who post on certain websites who see any mention or reference to a gay character as promoting an AGENDA so the rest of us just have a laugh at their expense.

That said, the reference in question for "Day of the Moon" is subtle and awesome. :)

Errr I mean gay agenda as a positive thing? Like, it amuses me that there's a supposed army of gays trying to shoehorn in gay references. Vomiting rainbows is also a positive thing. Idk, sorry, they're just internet injokes :/

Like, we have a plaid agenda tag, I don't think anyone *seriously* thinks there's an actual irl plaid agenda.

PS I am in the LGBT ~rainbow myself :)
