Does anyone know what the Hugo Awards ceremonies are like?

I might be going to Reno that weekend for Rocky Horror stuff and even if I don't end up going for Rocky Horror stuff, I could still go to Reno anyway.
But, not knowing what these ceremonies are like, I don't know if it would be worth my time?
Though I guess it might just be nice to go to the convention anyway if I end up in Reno that weekend regardless.

BUT THAT TOTES WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF HE HAD BEEN THERE. THE ONLY RIDIC THING ABOUT THAT FANTASY WAS HIM NOT BEING PRESENT IRL. AND YOU EVEN HAVE AN IN WITH TOBY BECAUSE OF YOUR PREVIOUS ENCOUNTER. :D

Yeah but meeting Toby once and flailing all over him doesn't mean he's gonna wanna hang out with me and be my best friend forever. Unless I get him a cup of tea, but it's Reno in the summer so it's not the best time for tea.

Gurl, you don't understand the relationship us English folk have with tea; we could be sat foil-wrapped on Satans own griddle, and we would still demand a cup of tea. If you could find him a good cup of tea in Reno, he would probably propose there and then. :D

Who knows how long it will be before Matt can come to conventions though? After he leaves the show (oh god I don't want to think about that), I want him to go on to do such great things and be too busy to come to our silly conventions. But in like thirty years, he better start making the rounds. And then the 20-year-olds of thirty years in the future will be like "Oh it's Eleven! STILL HOT." much like me and my young friends currently say about people like Peter Davison.
