Pictures from the past two weeks in filming
Hello again everyone! Here's some new photos I stumbled across showing location filming for Episodes 11 and 12 that were done around Cardiff these past two weeks. Basically, it's just more, clearer photos of stuff we've already seen, but thought some of you might enjoy them.
Episode 11
I think the tabloids really spun this the wrong way (likely on purpose). I don't see Rory and Amy arguing, followed by the Doctor comforting her. I see Rory off on an errand (to get the bubbly) and Amy being upset--possibly she knows she and Rory have to leave the TARDIS, for whatever reason. (And also for whatever reason, doesn't want Rory there when the Doctor DOES leave; maybe they both think he'd put up a fuss.) So she and the Doctor have a somber farewell, and Rory returns just as the TARDIS is dematerializing, and is all WTF?!

I really am loving how Arthur and Matt have both adopted Karen's trend of wearing bathrobes around at filming. And Karen's been spotted wearing a bobble hat, so all we need now is Matt in one and it's a flawless BROT3 for LIFE.
Episode 12
But if the Doctor does leave Amy and Rory behind at the end of Episode 11 ... they're right back again in Episode 12. (Though...Arthur and Karen were only on location set for Episode 12 for one night. The rest of the time, while Matt and James Corden were filming nights at Howell's and at Craig's new house, Arthur and Karen were elsewhere on location filming days for what we strongly suspect is Episode 8 or 10.)
This is Lynda Baron. She's appeared twice before in Doctor Who--once in 1966 (The Gunfighters) and again in 1983 (Enlightenment). Now she's back! And she brought her knitting! LIKE A BOSS.
I can't look at this picture anymore without laughing hysterically, because someone on Gallifrey Base said he looked like he was channeling a velociraptor. CANNOT UNSEE NOW.
