Moff, Moff, Moff, look at what you've done to me. I've been a Who fan for a fair number of years, from hiding behind the sofa as a child to getting seriously into the new series right from 2005... but it's never been like this before. I can't get this one out of my head. I've had to make myself a whole extra LJ just so I can be as ridiculously fangirly as I want to be without having to explain it to people. I've written thousands of words of fic, spent endless hours thinking about all this stuff, and it's this series that's done it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, ongoing character, all the years of previous development, the actors, all the people who make the programme itself, make it what it is, all that, but it'd add up to nothing if there was no-one to write it. And no-one writes it like the Moff does. His episodes for previous series were always the high points, as we've seen this week, but Moff, Moff, running the whole show... I had hopes for this series, and they weren't this high. I can't imagine it being done better. Moff, Moff, you have broken my brain.
