I dunno. The jury seems to be out on that. Some people who were watching the filming swear she's a policewoman, other people swear she's not. I guess we'll find out soon enough!
I know I'm supposed to be psyched for "Waters of Mars" and the 2-part finale, but I don't want to be depressed. I'm more excited by the shiny and newness of Eleven and Amy!
I feel exactly the same way. I don't want to know what happens in the final 2 specials that is so sad. :( But no matter how sad it is, I'll still be happy because I know that coming soon after the specials is ELEVEN AND AMY!!! :D Lol I am going to be really sad and really happy at the same time when he regenerates.
I think it's the Gap Year too. "Journey's End" left me gutted, and while the next two specials were fun, they just felt kind of on the depressing side. Since WoM is linked to the finale in terms of Carmen's prophecy, it just seems like Doom & Gloom for Christmas. The leaving part is just really dragging on too much for me. We knew DT was going to leave a year ago. Had he finished up this past summer, then we'd only have to wait a few months for a new Doctor. Here it's just going on forever.
So I am just ignoring the sad part and looking forward to the good part!
Yeah, it sounds mean but I would rather if he had already left, just so it wasn't as sad... it's annoying having to wait so long. We've had a whole series every other year, so why not this year? I'm just ignoring the sad bit too. :)
I understand the reasoning for the Gap Year in terms of the switching of production crews etc, but it's just been going on so long now that it's painful. Plus for personal reasons, I really do not need depressing things to dwell on right now, so bring on the new and exciting! :)
