Wait. Wait. Was he ACTUALLY playing the keyboard there? Because that would take it from totally awesome to...to...well, to ELEVEN!

I knew he played guitar, but not keyboards. Our Matt's quite the talent (and clearly he goes to Eleven).

I know that he plays the piano. He has said that he plays the piano better than the guitar.

I definitely missed that in interviews -- the only reason I knew he played the guitar was because he had one in hand during the Confidential about the UK tour. Given the size and length of his fingers, I'm not surprised that he's a musician at all. I'd give anything to have hands like that! :)

He said he wants a piano in the TARDIS ^_^

Reminds me of how much I want to see other rooms in there!
Pool, library.. stop teasing us Moff and show us more!

We saw Ten choosing his outfit in the.. wardrobe room? and apparently there was a scene in Classic Who where Sarah Jane is in the TARDIS swimming pool so it's not like it's against the rules!

EXCITING STUFF!

Anyway.. end ramble! :)

We definitely saw hints of a few rooms in the past. I have a strong memory of Sontarans running through TARDIS corridors in "The Invasion of Time" and we definitely saw the Zero Room in Five's first episode ("Castrovalva"?).

It would be extremely cool to see a piano in there somewhere or maybe even an entire music room!

Brilliant!

I'm getting serious about planning to watch Classic Who
Not sure whether I'm going to have to fork out le cash to purchase or if I can find it all online somewhere..
Got to do some digging!

And YES! I didn't think of a whole music room! That'd be fantastic!

Although a lone piano in a big room... with candles.. sort of romantic setting
That I'd like to see

I'm as old as the show itself so I actually started watching Dr Who during the Tom Baker era - it's been ages since I've seen a lot of them (like decades) because I never thought to tape them when they were on our local public broadcasting station, and didn't want to shell out the $ for the vhs tapes. I am starting to pick them up on dvd (at least the Tom Baker and Peter Davison eras since those were *my* Doctors and I was never really that fond of the Colin Baker or Sylvester McCoy stories) and have some sources for the other ones...*shifty look* I haven't had the chance to watch most of them yet though.

Ooh, esp if 11 wore a tuxedo and River showed up in a sort of clingy 1940s or 50s era gown and draped herself over it and him...?

haha I've re-watched all the New Who eps multiple times and I still forget things!
My terrible memory would DEMAND repeat viewings if it'd been that long since first watch!
+Sources?
I would be forever indebted if you would care to share these sources in a more.. private manner

That image! Genius!
River *sigh*
This must happen!
When we got a taste for her classy dressing in ep4 I knew more had to come

Just had an image of Eleven, Amy and Rory starting a band

So epic

And Arthur is a rather accomplished musician himself so I'm thinking they could do their own stunts... of a musical nature

Not really sure of Karen's musical ability..
I'm envisaging Amy on bongos though so should be fine

If nothing else, she could be their official stage dancer! I'd forgotten that Arthur was an accomplished musician too -- I remember reading that he'd written songs for a show in the UK, so this is a brilliant idea. I would love to see a musical episode of Dr Who. If it's good enough for Xena (twice), Buffy the Vampire Slayer and several other shows, Dr Who definitely needs one too.

Yes! An entire musical episode! Parfait! Exclamation marks all round!

I was thinking the three of them should have to go undercover as a band for some reason on an alien planet.. or rock stars at some festival in the 70's or something!
This plot would of course have to come above the alien adventure subplot (unfortunately deemed "necessary" for the show *rolls eyes at RIDICULOUSNESS of sacrificing band time for ACTUAL plot*)

And Amy dancing? I think this would be altogether too provocative for family viewing
Although her dorky dancing I would be so up for
