Mod Post: Reminders and pimping
First, the srs bsns.
We'd like to remind everybody that fan created stuff such as graphics and fanfics are no longer accepted for posting in this comm.
There have been several reminder posts about the rule changes, but we're still seeing on average a graphics post in the queue every day.
Obviously we have lots of lovely new members here, (hello and welcome to you all!), but can we please ask again that everyone who joins reads the comm rules, as it saves having your stuff rejected.
There was a slight bit of confusion over which category gifs fall into, and thus a gif post got through yesterday. Gifs should be posted to elevengraphics , unless part of a combined post, in which case they can be cross posted with the other appropriate comm.

Now, on to the fun stuff. :)
There be pimping ahead, in the form of some comms that could use some more love.
First up, dont_wander_off , which is our sister comm for the more juicy fanfic and fanart inspired by series 5. Yes, that's right, it's a comm where you can post your finest smutty fic and fanart/manips/graphics, knowing it'll be appreciated.
The reason we're pimping it, is that whilst we have a very healthy membership, we have a rather less healthy amount of posts. It seems that lots of people want to read/look at smut, but nobody is actually posting much, and thus there isn't much to see. We've held a feedback session of late, so we're going to have a few changes, such as prompts/challenges, anon meme type posts etc, but if you're a writer of smut/porn or like to draw/manip it, then please join the comm and post it. And if you happen across a hot fic or fanart posted elsewhere, feel free to encourage them to cross post. :D
Next up is moff_era_daily , which does what it says on the tin, and posts a daily picture of the people involved in the new era of Doctor Who. You can take part by signing up to post your own favourite pictures for a week, so if you like a daily bit of pretty, or would like to give others the gift of daily pretty of your choosing, then please join/watch and enjoy.
And finally, it's a non-Who comm, but relevant to our interests.
rad_bromance is a very new comm creted to fill the abbhorant vacuum in LJ fandom that meant that there are no comms dedicated to that fine political series that Matt Smith appeared in, the most excellent Party Animals.
If you enjoyed the series and want to talk about it, write fic for it, make graphics, share pictures and generally share in the love for it, then please come and join. ♥ And since we can't affiliate it with this comm, being non-Who, please pimp it out wherever you can if you join. Thanks!
