Layout Comp Mod Post.
Hey guys, if you follow the community's twitter account ( @doctorelevenLJ), you may have noticed I haven't updated it in the last 24hours approx. I've just been really busy with RL stuff plus my back is playing up so I haven't properly been in the mood to touch twitter. I will catch up on all posts later tonight when I have a chance.
Now, about the layout. I'm sure many of you have been thinking "With such a busy community, why such a default layout?" The truth of the matter is we mods have been working on something special but were holding off until a little closer to the release date of the new series.
Sometime between now and Easter the new layout will be uploaded. We thought we'd have a special competition for it. There will be a prize for the winner which will be discussed with them once we do announce that they have won. It depends on the account level and such.
Competition Rules:
When you see that the MAIN layout has been changed, email mattcavemods @ gmail.com with the subject line: OMG IS IT APRIL THIRD YET?!?. (exactly like that!)
In the body of the email, leave your LJ username and a short description of what the header you see looks like.
Who will win?
The first person who emails in correctly will win the prize.
Other info:
Chances are other parts of the community will be updated such as the User info and Side bar. THESE ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE COMPETITION. Only the main layout section will be included.

Custom Pages while they look nice, end up very skewed and distorted when comment threads go on for a while.
Default Pages while they look plain lj white, comment threads stay nicely organised no matter how long they go on for.
