Well, I haven't posted in a long time, but that is because I got bored and annoyed with the public forum and how people live their lives by it. That is just me and I respect others desire to and enjoyment of said forum, no disrespect intended

George, you hit the nail right on the nose. I've been saying the same thing, to myself at least, for a long time now. It has gotten worse recently and, through the work of enough committed people, things will get better.

Beth is right, things were much worse in CnG before I came to Cornell. Thank the powers that be for that. Things were better later, but I always thought they should be better than they were those first couple years I was in chess and games. Some people still won't let things go from back then. That always makes me sad to hear. As this year winds down, I worry that the stress of graduating may cause the seniors to be on edge, and make poor decisions. Ones that they might regret later.

I will console, confront, consider, and do whatever else I need to do for my friends - including giving them a good kick in the ass when they deserve it. Most importantly, I will endure. It time people will forgive and forget.

If you are going to be around for break at all George, I will grab Shiney and we will at least hang out. I accept Beth's claim on Rip for this break, and the two of them could really use the alone time ( ;-) ), but once he gets back we will get him to join us.

So yeah, I'll be in Wisconsin over break and before that is hectic, maybe Wednesday night, but that is the best I can do or maybe the weekend before the next block starts sometime. Yeah, I miss the old days, things were simpler then.
