Unless, y'know, you spend your 30th in Vegas.
Hopefully it will be a good time had by all. Never been to Las Vegas, so I don't know exactly how I'll react to it. I know of a few people who had shitty times there and a few more that detest the city as a whole. Still, I like to think that I'm the type of person that could probably have a decent enough time anywhere, even in a place like... oh, let's say Wisconson, provided that there was shit to do and people to do it with.
A shame that so many people were unable to come to the concert. If I could have my way, I'd find a way to bring everyone that'd I asked. As it stands, I'll try to see if Mike or Cory change their mind on Saturday. If not, eh, I'll go alone. It's not like the main the reason you go to a concert is to see the band itself. Oh wait, it is.
Still got mucho stuff to take care of today. Don't think I'll manage to get everything done before I leave on Friday, so I'll have to pick and choose what gets taken care of. Should still be in good shape for my return on Monday.
Dunno how available I'll be during the weekend, but feel free to give me a ring on the cell-phone. Anyone that wants to drop a Happy Birthday in the LJ response area is welcome too. Usually I try to shy away from all the hoopla and congratulations on what amounts to basically not dying for a year, but I suppose I can make an exception every 10 years or so. Thanks for the cards and the cash Mom, Dad, Linda, Alan, Memere and Pepere (both C and H).
