Well, my rollercoaster has continued. After working all day on Friday, I met my parents and grandparents at Cracker Barrel in Greenfield for dinner. From there, I headed to the mall to pay a past due Zales bill. Then it was back home to get a change of clothes and such, as well as the rest of Lindsay's stuff. Finally got out to the campground about 10. Sat up for an hour filling out paperwork for Belzer to be turned in Saturday afternoon. I was quite happy when I went to bed...the last song I heard on the radio before I turned it off was Big & Rich's "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy." My favorite song, and it hardly ever gets played anymore. The DJ's comment was that he 'had to make sure we were still awake.' Saturday started off by going up to Lindsay's for, as my boss put it, a 'property settlement' - in other words, getting my stuff back and giving her stuff back. My truck bed was about 1/3 full when I went up there. By the time I left, it was completely full. Once we got everything loaded up, we stood there and talked for about 20 minutes before I left so she could get ready to go to the spring formal in New Castle. On the way home, I realized that I forgot to give her back her calculator, picture frame, and keys, and she forgot to give me back my Magic cards. So, I called her when I got home, and ended up spending almost an hour talking to her. Once I finally got everything unloaded, I headed up to Belzer to turn in paperwork and chill with the Andersons. Barb wasn't there when I got there, so I ended up giving it all to (Ranger) Kevin once I finally found him. Finally ran into Kevin A after talking to Ryan for a while. Ended up getting drafted to help clean the pool (with nitric acid...nasty stuff...it was even eating the concrete when I set it down), though I ended up going and getting lunch (at like 2:30, mind you) after realizing how hungry I was. I have to say, the bacon and cheese Angus steakburger at BK is pretty good. Or I think it is, anyway. Headed back to Belzer to work on the pool...my job ended up being refilling the acid bucket about every 1/2 hour or so, which was pretty easy. Lots of standing around watching. Didn't take too entirely long to finish it up. Once we did, we drove around on the golf cart for a while...helped one group who was out there for the OA conclave clean up the stuff they borrowed, and cleaned up the four bales of straw that they managed to break open with their tomahawk throw. Ran into my middle school industrial tech teacher and talked to him for a while, too. Rode around on the golf cart some more, played with (Ranger) Kevin's dogs for a little bit, and rode around some more. Kevin finally decided where they were going for dinner, so I asked if I could tag along. We ended up at a place in Geist called The Fox, which is owned by the same people/person as The Snooty Fox. Pretty good food, and some good scenery, right Kevin? :-D It was a little too loud, though. I think it was after 10 by the time we got back to camp, so I didn't get to talk to Kevin for too long before his parents had to leave so his dad could get to work. Sunday was church, talk to David for an hour or so after services about the confusion running rampant in my head, then it was home to change, eat, and get to band in like 30 minutes. Didn't end up marching any, so I didn't really need to change, though I was glad I did since it was warm in there. Back to church Sunday night, returned the rest of Lindsay's stuff to her (and she said she'd get my Magic cards to me in the next week), talked to her for a couple minutes, and found out we were going to Fazoli's for Sue's birthday. I suppose I ended up talking to Devin at some time, since he rode with me to Fazoli's, but I don't remember what we talked about, or even talking to him before Fazoli's. Kinda got moved from the adult table to Heather and Becky's table because of space issues, but it's all good. I didn't feel like as much of an outsider in the group, so I was satisfied. I don't want to sound like I have to be a big part of every bit of every conversation, but I do appreciate being included in some parts. Devin and I headed outside shortly after we finished eating because it was too loud inside. Talked a lot about our girl issues and some about Brian's weaponry that he's selling. Heather and Becky came out and started blasting "Baby Got Back", so we decided we'd go blast "Ice Ice Baby" off my iPod. Didn't have the effect we wanted because nobody paid any attention, but we talked a while about music. I left later than I'd planned, but I had fun, so it was good. Monday started good, quickly turned bad, and stayed bad. I'm not going into details...one, because the biggest thing has been worked out; two, because other things have changed to a certain degree; and three, because I'm tired of talking about it. Talked to Lisa, my best friend from high school, a lot on Monday, which is about the only thing that made the day bearable. Tuesday was better, probably just because of the conversations I had Monday night. Finally called the lady who's brining her pack out to Belzer on the 30th to work out details for using the range. I was getting another call while I was talking to her, but since it was a semi-professional call, I didn't want to switch over in the middle of the conversation. Once I got off the phone with her, I checked to see who had called, only to see that it was Lindsay. Not that it's a bad thing, though. So, I called her back to see what she wanted, and that turned into a three hour conversation. That actually went pretty well. Kinda confusing most of the time, but still good. Wednesday was good, even though I was told something Tuesday night that was eating at me all day. Ran into Heather after class and talked to her for over an hour. That was quite a helpful conversation. Helped me to straighten some things out in my head...honesty and reminding me of things rather than telling me what I wanted to hear. Services were pretty good. Got there early because I got out of my group meeting early, so I went in and talked to David and Daniel for a while. Didn't get to talk to David about everything I wanted to, so I told him I'd talk to him afterwards. Class was actually rather interesting...good discussion. No trip to Steak 'n Shake because everyone was busy or something. So, I talked to Devin until he had to leave, then went back in and talked to David for over an hour. Talked a lot about the first part of the week and then he told me that someone had found some of our (meaning members at Southport) journals and was concerned about what was being said. Finally got home at almost 11, ate dinner, talked to Lisa for a while, and went to bed after clearing up the thing that had been eating at me all day. Today has been a bit of a rollercoaster in and of itself. Started off depressed for no reason at all and only got better because I was too busy thinking about other things at work. Classes were boring like usual, but I got out of my last class too early to finish this. This weekend could be boring and/or depressing. I think I'm going camping with my parents tomorrow night, who knows what on Saturday, then down to the McCauley's for a Bible study Saturday night. Nothing too exciting, so we'll see how the weekend goes. Let me know if anyone wants to do something during the day Saturday and I'll see what I can do. But, I think I'm gonna wrap this up for now and do some shopping online for my truck. Bob said he'd pay to get one of those rear window picture thingies for my truck, and I've decided that I definitely want a louder exhaust system. The problem is trying to figure out how loud different mufflers are and how loud I want mine to be. But, I'll get it figured out somehow. Have a wonderful weekend!
