Okay, let's see how much update I can come up with in half an hour. Nothing much interesting this past week. Friday was work all day and up to Lindsay's to watch a movie and play with the puppies a little (I think). Ended up not going to Warren's homecoming because she wouldn't have been down in time to catch everything before the game, and the only reason I wanted to go was to see old teachers and the halftime show. Saturday, I got to sleep in for a little bit. Bob had a doctor's appointment in the morning, then he wanted me to help him build some shelving in the guest room closet for all mom's scout stuff. Well, he ended up buying shelves instead of trying to build them, so I ended up trying to get part of my room cleaned. Didn't make much progress before heading up to Lindsay's for dinner with her brother, sis-in-law, and parents. Got our pictures taken by her mom...I may post them somewhere if y'all get lucky. Then headed down to watch a movie and play with puppies. Sunday was church, out to KFC with Lindsay, then she went to band with me since she wants to learn to play flute. After band, I taught her a little bit on the flute...I'm not going to say anything about how well she did; that's up to her to divulge if she wants. Then it was back to church and then to the Whitsitt's for their birthday party. It was okay...the little game they had to play was kind of amusing. Monday was calc and work, then got my hair cut and Lindsay came over (with dinner, thanks love) and we watched O. Tuesday was calc, work, and class. Found out some rather disgusting news about one of my staff members between classes...comment if you want info. Wednesday was calc and work. Found out that my hours are probably going to be cut starting next week, because as it is now, I come in right before my supervisors go to lunch. They want me to come in an hour later, when they get back from lunch. Which means I'll have time to eat lunch, but I'll be working less and therefore getting paid less. Oh well. Lindsay came down before church for T-bones and mac & cheese...strange combination, I know, but it was still good. Then it was off to church, which was good, as usual. Today has been calc, work, and class...nothing too interesting except talking to Kevin for a while.
This weekend should be pretty good. Tomorrow will be work and a singing at the Whitsitt's. Saturday, Lindsay's brother Jason invited us to go to the James Dean Festival (car show) in the morning, and then probably crash at her house afterwards. Bob wants me to go to the camporee so I can work on the newsletter that I guess has to be out by next Friday, but he's out of luck. They hadn't said anything about going until Jason had already asked us to go and we said yes. Yeah, I knew about it long ago, but didn't plan on going because it's usually boring. Sunday should just be normal stuff, and who knows what for dinner. Okay, I think that's it for now. Catch y'all later!
