survey-type thingie
When did I update this thing last? Oh, last Monday. So I'm a little behind...get over it. I was only in both of my classes lastnight for half an hour thanks to fire alarms going off. :-) So, let's see...
Tuesday was boring. Same stuff. Wednesday was pretty boring, except for singing night at church. Always fun. Thursday was Roundtable and a call from Barb to tell me that Ranger Kevin's father passed away the day before. Met pacotechguy at Wally World after RT to get cards for Kevin and Adam Moos (whose father also passed away), and ended up being there for about an hour...looking at guns and chatting. Oh, ended up skipping calc Thursday morning in favor of going to breakfast with my "brother" after he dropped off my digital camera. That was fun. Bro, if you're reading this, we need to do that again sometime. Friday was work all day, then to my father's for the evening. Went to see The Alamo, which was very good. Saw Mr. Comiskey (Great Books/speech teacher from dub-C) before the movie, but didn't have time to really talk to him...just a quick hi and him saying he figured I'd be seeing that movie. :-)
Saturday morning, I spent two and a half hours at Firestone getting my oil changed. I've never been shown how, and my parents gave me four free ones from there, so I'll let the pros do it. Then headed home and started getting ready for the formal dinner that the Morgans were putting on in New Castle. Left about 3:45 to go pick up Devin, then back to my side to pick up Lloyd on the way out. The food was wonderful, beautiful farm, lots of lovely young ladies, and lots of fun. After dinner, most of us headed to the middle school (which was about as big as Warren) for basketball and fun. That was the first time I'd played basketball (or exercised at all) in four or five years, and as usual, I was wearing cowboy boots. :-D It was fun...I think I may have to get into that again. Didn't get much of a chance to talk to Annie, but talked to Jared, Stephanie, and James for a while. I have a sneaking suspicion that Stephanie's interested, but I don't know. No offense intended, but I'm not really interested in her, so... Got home about 11:30 after dropping Lloyd and Devin off. Oh, as soon as I can find the pictures from Saturday online, I'll post a link. Or I may just have to get a picture and post it on my site once I get it up and running. Sunday was better than expected. Services in the morning, dinner with the family in the afternoon (with no religous conflicts), services in the evening, and Hardee's for dinner. Sometime soon I'm going to be building a computer for the Hornbergers (after seeing what they have and figuring out what they want/need), and hopefully that will be the start of my business. So if you want a new computer, let me know what you want and I'll give you a quote. I'll bet it'll be cheaper than a name brand. To be continued...
