[Amaimon is likely the very last to arrive to the assembly. Underground tunnels! Underground! The Earth King must explore it all! When he does finally turn up, though, he claims a chair and promptly turns it around so he can sit on it and lean over the backing like some overgrown kid.

Blink and you'll miss how he suddenly had a bowl of popcorn. It... it's just there, now that he's settled down. Omnomnom, not a care in the world.]

[Well, good, Amaimon. It's good that you feel comfortable around the new lair. It's as much as yours as much as it is the Doctor's... as long as you're on his same side. His smile hardly ever vanishes despite Amaimon's casual appearance.]

Why, thank you. I thought we needed something like this... especially after our latest mishaps. Did you get to kill enough of those so-called fakes?

We've had mishaps? [He must have missed those. Life's just been dandy for this demon.] Not really. I never found any interesting ones to kill. The boring ones aren't worth my time.

The nuclear blast from a while ago is one. And those wretched cannibals aren't smart enough to get through either, I suspect.

... Mm. You're quite selective of your victims.

Oh, that. That was annoying. [Okay, so that would be a mishap.] The cannibals were not really trouble anyway.

Hmm? Yes, of course I am. I am a king. I only bother with rabble if they are in my way.

... Oh. But we all still perished just the same without exception. That was, needless to say, a pity.

Tell me, you did say that you were a demon, didn't you?

That was the annoying part. [Death is something for humans, okay?] Hmm. Yes. I must have said that at some point, since that is what I am.

I've been curious. Tell me what sort of a life you've lived as a born demon.

What sort of life...? Hmm. A dangerous one, I suppose, but I do not mind it. You have to be strong to survive in our world or you deserve to die, so I became the strongest.
