Warnings: Head canon stuff, Hatori's powers
Effects: A little bit of fear toward the end
"Hatori, it's time for you to learn to control this power."
The disembodied voice surrounds a small boy curled in a ball. All around him is darkness and he appears to be crying as he says he doesn't want to. Not that. Anything but that.
A man materializes next to the boy and he looks so much like a grown up Hatori. However, it's obvious that the man isn't him. This is someone else entirely.
"You were born with it and because that friend of yours knows about you, you have to learn."
Two servants appear out of nowhere holding a sobbing child between them. The man grabs the boy's arm and it's revealed that this is Hatori has a child. "No, chichiue!" There's no stopping it though and he feels his hand on the other child's face.
"Do it. Make him forget."
"No!" But then there seems to be a flash and the other boy falls unconscious. The servants and the boy vanish leaving Hatori with his father.
"Good, son. Very good."
The child that is Hatori just curls up holding his head, eyes wide with fear.
Hatori sits up panting. Noticing the Dreamberry on, he quickly grabs it. It only takes a second to shut it off.
