The legal age of consent in Russia is sixteen, not fourteen as previously assumed. Only a person over eighteen can be charged with anything criminal. Therefore, all characters under the age of sixteen will not be permitted to engage in sexual activity with anyone over eighteen years of age. Anyone doing so from now on will receive a permanent ban from the roleplay; this is being added to the rules at this very moment. This is no longer going to be something we will just let happen; it is very important, and it is absolutely horrible that we had to let things come this far before doing something about it.
Any characters under sixteen who have done naughty things with another character eighteen or over in the past will not be punished, as long as it does not happen from this point forward. Feel free to edit your character's information to age them appropriately if you wish. But we will not allow this to happen anymore.
I sincerely apologize once more for lack of clarity on the roleplay's part. Malaise House and it's moderators, once again, do not condone, support, or encourage pedophilia in any way, shape, or form.
While we hate to see so many people go because of this issue, we understand everyone's decisions to leave and we will not pressure anyone into coming back.
