There's at least 3 occurrences of DT saying Rose and "love of his life" in the same sentence...
What could it possibly mean? ;)

Of course it's all symbolic, how could I ever think otherwise?

It's like in 'The Satan Pit' when he says he believes in her, he's referring to all his female companions yes?

Hahaha do people actually try to argue that it's symbolic? How can they even try to defend that??

Oh yes, I've seen people say that. Led to me wanting to hit my head on a wall. Hard.

Oh god. Thats just ridiculous.
They just don't want to admit that Rose is The One and that they are amazing together.

River may have "married" The Doctor, but that just means she's pushy ;-)

I think at that stage the Doctor would have married anyone. It's amazing what holding the universe at ransom will achieve....

Just wanted to ask that in the future you avoid making similar comments. We are a happy comm and want to welcome all sorts of Doctor/Rose shippers, including fans of River!

I don't know exactly how I've offended..."pushy" is a fairly celebrated River trait (it's why I like her) and I feel there is some ambiguity about the marriage ceremony in the last episode. But will keep a less facetious tone in future comments :-)

Rose/Doctor forever!

No hard feelings, we just don't want to risk offending DRF members who are fans of River and might see "pushy" as an insult.

My own personal canon is that they were "married" in that episode (The Wedding of RIver Song) purely to get out of trouble. Later, when (and because) he realizes that she needs to know SOMETHING that will convince Ten that she knows what she's talking about, Eleven tells her his name. But no other reason. It's not a marriage in the "true" sense.

Not in my head canon. No nookie. Not with River, anyway.....
And Eleven TOTALLY is thinking of Rose when Amy asks him about "what he believes in" or something to that effect.

In the future, we'd appreciate it if you could refrain from overly harsh criticism of characters. We're generally a happy comm, and don't want to risk alienating fans of any character.
