Discussion Question: Why do you ship Doctor/Rose?

Our daily D/R moments aren't going anywhere, but I've been considering asking this for a while and would love to read all your answers:

What is it about Doctor/Rose that makes them your OTP? Or what is it about them that makes you ship it?

It's hard to say when I first started shipping Nine and Rose. Somewhere around "World War Three," (and of course now all the episodes before that fill me with happy shippy feelings as well :D) I was way late to the Doctor Who party, as it were, and tried to keep away from spoilers. But I just had to know if they ended up together. So I ended up watching the final scene from "Parting of the Ways" a bit early.

I was literally happy for DAYS. Weeks, perhaps. And I hadn't even watched the whole episode, just the kiss scene. I had never shipped a pairing that was even remotely canon, and I was so joyously surprised that they were together- I mean, I thought their chemistry would go unanswered like so often does with certain couples.

And they just got more epic from there, you know? I literally love every interaction between them. Every smile, every tear, every dorky little moment. It's so clear they belong with each other and that were (and are) in love. The show itself is amazingly epic, but there's something about the Doctor and Rose which just fills me up with a million happy feelings. Witnessing everything they went through is just amazing.

And that's why they're my OTP.
