Spock's going to ask Archer if he would act as Justice of the Peace for the ceremony. I'd love to see the eyes of those stiff formal suits at Starfleet headquarters when we come up with a marriage certificate signed by Archer himself. If we reveal the events that occur in the timeline, we may inadvertently cause some events not to occur due to someone having foreknowledge of them. In other words, if we say too much, then it may cause something to occur that will prevent you and I from ever meeting.

There is also the possibillity that if we do not reveal something now, that we will return to our time and learn that you and I never met, or that Nyota is the captain, or something radically different. Due to the fact that the timeline we are from had us revealing something to Captain Archer now, yet we did not/will not revealed/reveal it thus creating the change in the timeline.

If confused by the possible effects of time travel, then go through the following equation that explains it: X=a+(P/Qsquared)-(T/R*+A/T/RtimesR/M)factorE=dCm....
