Mike is recovering from surgery in the neurosurgical HDU tonight. He is drowsy, exhausted, but aware of the presence of family.
Bec would like you all to know that she is HUGELY grateful for the support expressed. Currently she is overwhelmed by the whole situation, so Dave and I are going to continue to act as a buffer between her and the rest of you, sorry about that. We'll see some of you at the pub tonight, then go home and collapse after a fairly full day or two.
