i woke up at nine today just so i could watch oprah. god i love that woman. i must say that everytime i see her show i learn something new. like this morning, i learned how to NOT get kidnapped at at ATM. "remember ladies....NEVER allow yourself to get to the second location". so now i am really really really scared to go to an ATM by myself. this lady on the show was in her car, at a drive up ATM, when this guy came up and threatened her with a gun, then he got into her car, made her stop and stuck her in the trunk. so this lady kicked the back seat open and got off at a stop. i think that if i were in the same situation i would be a dumbass and not even think about kicking out the back seat. im even more scared b/c the only ATM i go to is a drive up one....i am never going alone EVER again. so i need an ATM buddy. i also learned what to do if i was ever to get stuck in a flood while in my car. it may seem like i never would be in such a situation....but just 2 feet of water can move a car, so it could happen. so what you do is, you get on top of your car, secure your feet w/ the window and hold on to your seatbelt and signal for help. then there was this 20 year old college student on the show. her story was that one day she skipped class to watch oprah, and that day ( i saw this show too) there was this young girl who was about to be kidnapped but she fought back so hard that she was able to get the guy off of her and the reason why she was on the show was to educate other young girls like herself. so the 20 year old on today, the same day she skipped class to watch the show, later at night went to a party and as she was walking back at night some jerk off tried to rape her. so since the memory of the show was fresh in her mind, she fought back and they guy left. she even peed on the guy! so in conclusion......it was never bad of me to skip my biology class at northern just so i could watch oprah. what would i do without oprah???? not much , i would be kidnapped that's what would happen and i would get stuck in my car during a flood.
