why oh why...
I had a lecture today from 9-11 which was ok and I then came straight to work to cover the 12:00-15:00 and 18:00-22:00 shifts as someones gone on holiday.
All of the above is fine, it works out nicely, I've even got uni work with me for when the harassment from tons of students dies down.
So why then have I literally just agreed to do the 15:00-18:00 shift for someone else?
I don't want to work a 10hr shift with only a half hr break, but the words 'yes I can do it' came out of my mouth before I'd really thought about it and now I'm chained to this desk until they can get someone to cover for my (much needed) break and I'm going to miss dinner and may have to walk home in the dark by myself.
That'll teach me to be generous.
