HEY THERE, AUNT SALLY. ♥ Isshin actually does like Roy and hopes they can get past this whole "just talk to Izumi already!" "I AM A ROCK" phase, because Roy makes a great straight man in the idiot game and Isshin's already thinking about convincing him to run the grill for the Kurosaki Family Barbecues, whenever he starts doing those. He's kinda short for a guy with such a Western name, though, and Isshin doesn't yet think he's got the force of will that Yuzu has that justifies Roy not being taught hand-to-hand, DESPITE THE FACT that the only time Isshin's actually been able to get Roy to anything like fight him was when he was an ostrich.

Yuusuke sort of reminds Isshin of Ichigo (it's the shonen retardedness), but even without that Isshin thinks he seems like a fun kid who deserves special attention from Daddy and possibly integration into the Kurosaki family as a nephew. The get-togethers will be FANTASTIC!

And now, five times ANYONE has ever managed to shut Isshin up and how:
1. Masaki, and how HASN'T she shut him up is probably a better question in that case.
2. Ichigo and Karin get lucky and shut him up via knock-out sometimes.
3. One time when Isshin was a kid this guy from one of those rough districts near the edge of the Rukongai was teaching him some shiny new fighting technique and Isshin was talking so much the whole time that the guy grabbed his tongue, and after that Isshin didn't talk when he was actually learning something except to ask an important question.
4. Urahara once stuck him in a mute gigai when the current aging one was being fine-tuned. D:
5. Sometime in the first month after they met, Ryuuken punched Isshin in the mouth, which wouldn't have worked except Isshin bit his tongue a bit and remembered that guy who grabbed his tongue when he was a kid and shut up for a whole five minutes.
