There; I just finished editing my computer’s sound notifications, replacing them with .wav quotes from HAL-9000. I enjoy being called “Dave” and hearing my computer ask me just what I think I’m doing, and tell me he can feel his mind going.
Should be getting to see TRON on Monday or Tuesday; probably Tues. I feel so shamefully superficial, looking forward to this movie. I just want to see all of the high-contrast visuals and speedy, exciting fight scenes and light cycle races. Any attempt at plot is only going to frustrate and bore me.
Somewhere amidst xmas shopping, I bought a copy of the “Ultimate” Watchmen DVD. I have the director’s cut, and Black Freighter, so I did hesitate to buy yet another version when I don’t watch it very often. It ended up costing me 11 bucks, so it’s fine. I’ll sell BF. The commentary track is what enticed me the most. It’s been weeks and I still haven’t watched it. Setting that chunk of time aside is an investment!
Secret Santa can’t come soon enough. I’m lonely for a Watchmen presence in my LJ life. Sign-ups worked out so that another gift-giver was needed, so I’m going to make something. Aaa! Posting starts next week!
