fanart - ror again.

I drawed a art.

Huh, I just realized it's basically the negative image of this icon.

Was meant to look (more) like watercolor, but I overworked it. No worries, though - I just wanted to test a (Photoshop) brush. And hey, it turned into Ror!

You really captured his body language here - all closed off, and pensive. I particularly like the light and shadow in his left leg and the turn of his head... they just really work. :)

Very good rendering of the character. Are you going to add some background/environment?

Probably. I played with a background briefly, but I'd lost interest by that time. Maybe just a pattern is all it needs.

Yeah, that should be enough. Just don't condemn him to a white environment... ;o)

Oh BTW there's something I just have to tell you about. As you know by now I'm in this roleplaying group. Well, there's one character who's a troubled, melancholy loner, walks around in a trenchcoat and a hat, has a strange, unsettling face that he disguises with a kind of magical shadowplay, prefers to wander around town by himself and only meets up with the crew when absolutely necessary, growls enigmatic, profound-sounding observations in a dark, ultra-serious, very sexy voice and considers himself a dangerous and disturbed person, though if you look well you can see his heart's in the right place.

He reminds me of Rorschach the whole time. (The player has never read Watchmen - or so he claims.) I'm trying to get some romance going on between that character and my own, but it's very hard, especially because the player is not open for it since he can't imagine someone would fall for that guy... Ahem.

Well, there could still be romance! One-sided romance coming from your character, which he may or may not be aware of, depending on how you both decide to play it.

That is fantastic; thanks for telling me :) Yeah, I'd be trying to get a piece of that myself!
