Weapons? Nasty things! Never touch them if I can help it. There isn't a single situation that can't be settled with old fashioned conversation and compromise. The hard part is getting everyone's attention. Unfortunately, too many species believe in shoot first, ask questions later. When I think of all the lives that could have been saved if people would simply talk to one another!
