That entirely depends on what your definition of "forever" is. I've been to the edges of the Universe and looked beyond into limitless Void. I've seen its Birth and its End, so in a sense you might say I've already seen "forever."
Ah, but you're asking the question personally and not philosophically, aren't you? Yes, thought as much. Well then! For myself, the answer would be an unequivocal "absolutely not." True, as a Time Lord, my body has the ability to regenerate when it has worn itself out, either because of natural age or mortal injury (not to mention the occasional meddling by certain stuffed-robes on Gallifrey who ought to be minding their own p's and q's instead of upsetting a fellow's regenerative cycle!). And regeneration is a form of immortality. But it is not something my body can do indefinitely, even should I want it to. Which I don't.
I can't help thinking of Rassilon's riddle. "To lose is to win, and he who wins shall lose." The old boy saw immortality is a curse. I'm afraid I have to agree with him. To live forever? To keep going on and on and on, until worrying about your longevity and continuing your existence becomes an all consuming obsession that devours your mind and soul? No thank you! I'd rather live for the moment.
