Quite clearly The Guardian hates the TARDIS and will not acknowledge her as the one perfect companion to the Doctor (yeah, you know the list I am talking about; I just can't be bothered to link to it I have such contempt for it I will not even link to the page and up their hit counts). Maybe that is because she is too good for lists and it would upset the very balance of the space-time continuum thingy if they were to even mention her name. Or maybe it is because they are prejudiced and this is an example of PREJUDISM again the rightful love of an alien for his machine. (Oh baleful, woeful event! Oh sad day for the Guardian and its so-called liberal politics!)
I feel very strongly that this UNWARRANTED AND SMALL-MINDED snub deserves letter writing or internet petitions or at the very least an entry on Fandom Wank. Where is our internet crazy, people? It's just not good enough to quietly ship them and know that we are the only right thinking people in the universe: we must make everyone aware of the gloriousness of THEIR ONE TRUE LUV. So today, I ask you to celebrate and promote that love in whatever way you see fit. Ignore the passing shininess of Martha; do not be dazzled by the thrill of a new companion.
