So, Last Week (April 18th - April 22) I met someone like no one I have ever met in my life. I got to work with a man named Arthur Lessac. Arthur is one of the foremost instructors in the voice and movement in the world today. He has been working in this field of 75 years and is currently 95 years old! He is the most amazing person I have ever met in my life. Last week I got to have some lessons with him and my voice/movement professor Deb Kinghorn.
95 Years Old? He acts younger than me! This man put me to shame how energetic and vigorious he was. 95 Years Old and he could do things that I could not. At one point, he actually lift me off the ground! A 95 YEAR OLD MAN LIFTED ME (240 POUNDS) OFF THE GROUND!!! I learned so much from him and I thank him for everything he helped me with when he was here. In addition to the work, I had time to sit down and talk with Arthur one-on-one! He truly is one of the most unbelievable people I have ever met in my life! He's vigor and his love for life! His energy and charisma! With every word he said and ever move he made, he brought a smile to everyone who saw him!
Thank you Arthur!! This was an amazing week and I hope to one day see you again!!

So........what else is new?
THE TEMPEST SUMMER PROGRAM.........
So, things will be starting up soon for that! When classes end we can get started on the long-awaited Tempest work! The whole group is so excited for the project and we just want to get started! Also, as a side-note, I will be rooming with the coolest girl on campus and we will be staying at the house of God himself. My friend Tucker Cummings and I will be rooming at Professor David Richman's house during the Tempest program! We are so excited!
Also, I am disappointed to say that it looks like no one will be coming to see the TEMPEST out on Appledore Island. I don't blame them! It's pricey ($75)....but I don't know! They can come see the main land production of the show on September 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. If anyone can make it to Appledore Island....and can afford it........Tell me soon so I can reserve tickets! That date is August 27th.
YMCA CAMP CONISTON................
Yes, another year at YMCA Camp Coniston in Grantham, NH! This year Marcus and I will be the Drama Directors and the Archery Directors (Tuesday-Thursdays-Saturdays). It ought to be an amazing summer and I can barely wait. It should be fun.....this looks as though it is going to be my last summer at Coniston!
I have loved the experiences and the people! I have so many fantastic memories but there comes a time when everyone must move into the real world. I don't know if I really want to....but it looks as though it is going to happen! So, let's make this a FANTASTIC final summer and who knows.........maybe I will eat these words and come back again!
Drama is going to rock this year with the FANTASTIC new curtains and my lighting system. We are going to a fun time trying to figure out how to make people fly in PETER PAN and we are going to find a way to create a rocking headless horseman in SLEEPY HOLLOW. Those are two shows that we have decided on for this summer. We have two more to decide on....wish us luck or give us some ideas.
ARTS BREAK - FRIDAY APRIL 29th..............
So, at the end of this week, I am performing a presentation of Act5/Scene1 of PERICLES, PRINCE OF TYRE that will be presented in front of the arts departments and President Hart. I have directed and am performing in the piece as Pericles. It ought to be an interesting production and I hope that if anyone is free from 330PM to 5PM on April 29th....they should come to the PCAC at the University of New Hampshire and watch the amazing arts presentations and see me in the scene from Pericles.
I'm nervous.....wish me luck.......
DIRECTING 2 SCENES - MAY 10th/MAY 11th..........
So, I am in a Directing 2 one-act! It is a student original piece .... so HELL if I know what it's about! But, I'm cast, so that is all that matters!! We have our first rehearsal tonight as soon as I pry myself away from this keyboard!! It oughta be fun...if anyone is free on May 10th/May 11th.... they should come up to the University of New Hampshire....they venture over to the PCAC ..... venture down to the Hennessey Theater............they should watch the Directing 2 One-Acts! It will be loads of fun!! Come on down....enjoy!

SUMMER...........
So close and so many pros and cons! I love the freedom and the lack of responisbility but I am really going to miss the people here at UNH! So many friends that I will miss over the summer!! I will trying my best to come to people's shows over the summer! Just keep me informed of dates and locations and then I will see what I can do!!
Also, people back in the South Shore, anybody up for a Six Flags trip? I am! Let's get some people together....set a date....and let's take the 2 hours and 30 minutes drive from the South Shore to Six Flags New England!!! Sound good! Anyone game??
