well, that was odd
ok so, the operation went exactly as as I was told, about the only pain at the office was the repeated poking with the I.V. Needle because I've got Veins of obscurity +5. They had to put that in the back of my hand instead, to which I told the doctor "ouch, that hurts! sort of a burning feeling" and the next thing I had cotton in my mouth and the assistant was asking me if I was ok to move to the recovery room. Fantastic! I got home and promptly took my percosets and amoxacillian and I was out like I light. I've been up for about 5 mins now, still feel groggy as hell and mildly sore. but you know what? it's about the same level of pain I had when my wisdom tooth was infected anyway. I can cope. I survived 6 months of a seriously painful back, this is nothing.
