Ugh.
Well, I bought Spore as an impulse buy. Started it up, played through about half of the game. The reviews are right; it's a good game, but not great.
Then I read about the DRM.
I'm usually in the loop on this kind of stuff. In fact, I remember reading about the 'three installs per key' policy and thinking that I'd never buy the game. However, I also remember reading something saying that that 'feature' had been removed, which is apparently not the case.
So now I feel terrible. By buying this game I've contributed to the horrible DRM mess that's plaguing PC gaming.
Thinking about going back to the store and telling them that I don't agree to the terms of service. I hear that can work.
