Geocaching!
All right, I want to begin some weekly raids on the caches hidden around Tucson and the surrounding area! Here's how it's going to work. Each week I'll post an entry for the following week naming the days I can do it. People who are interested can post their availability. We'll go with the day and time that the most people can go.
Once we've decided upon a date we can choose where to go. For instance, one week we could search near the University, the next we could go on a hike in Catalina State Park, and the next we could travel up Mount Lemmon for a day. There are literally hundreds of caches in the area. We should also vary the time; it would be fun to do a night or two.
If you're interested, all you need is sun protection, some money to put toward gas and water, and anything you'd like to eat. I think I'll bring a cooler so we can store cold beverages and food. Of course, we can always plan to go out for food/drinks/ice cream after.
So, for this next week, I can do Friday or Saturday at any time. I can fit four people in my car.
