Get Away From Her, You Bitch!
Hello people!
God, it's been a long day.
Not bad, just really long. Lots going on. Um, oh, I had a crazy dream. Teh fam and I all went to a gaming tournament, and they were set up sorta like a horror con; they had a vendors room, a few activities other than gaming, etc. Teh rents and I were walking around, looking at all the merch, and mom told me and Nick, "If you find something under $20 that you want, I'll buy it."
So, naturally, we went in search of things $20 or less that we wanted. I found a shirt that I thought was cute, then saw a girl walk past me with her boyfriend, wearing the shirt, and I thought, "Wow. Slutty." Her boyfriend glanced at me and smiled, so I smiled back, and the girl kinda freaked out. She yelled at him, thankfully, so I walked away and tried to find something else to get.
I ran into the girl again, and saw that her shirt referenced Ponyo, but spelled it, "Ponya." I laughed and she glared at me, so I started walking away, but mumbled under my breath, "You're wearing a shirt about it and you don't even know the name of the movie? What a fucking idiot." She started yelling after me and I walked around a clothes rack, then, suddenly, the dream changed.
The fam and I were standing at the edge of an empty pool, a ton of other people surrounding it, as well. They made an announcement that games would be commencing shortly while I read a newspaper article about the event. It said that one of the contestants had gone insane after playing 48 hours straight, and they cut both their thumbs off with a saw. A lot other scary things were happening to contestants.
But I don't remember exactly what. Needless to say, I really didn't want Nick to compete, so I was trying to tell teh rents to find him when I woke up. I went downstairs, made myself something small to eat, then joined dad outside in the garage to help clear shit out and set shit up for Halloween. Spent a few hours out there, and it was fucking freezing, but fun. I love helping with Halloween. <3
Nick and I ran out to get a couple pumpkins and staples for dad's staple gun, and Nick drove us everywhere (we had to go to a few places, too, til we finally found pumpkins. We came back and helped dad a little more, but eventually, we went inside for the night. I carved my third pumpkin (as posted earlier) and we had a fantastically Lance Henriksen filled night: watched Pumpkinhead and Aliens.
Both were first viewings for me, and both were excellent. I especially loved Lance as Bishop. Coolest android ever. Title of this post is, of course, from that movie. I took a shower, took some medicine and that's about it.
