She Found a Lump On Her Cat...or Her Dad, I Don't Remember

I had a fun dream!
I mean...I know there was some weird aspect to it, but all I remember is me and mom getting into a hot air balloon! :D I was really excited (even though I'm afraid of heights, lol) and we were just about to go up in the air when I woke up. Mom made me tea cuz my throat was hurting this morning. Then I went to work. And did a LOT of work. And sat by myself at lunch.
Cuz work is all about making you as miserable as humanly possible. I ate my lunch quickly and tried to sleep, but did not succeed. I went back to my desk and did more work (seriously, it was pretty much non-stop legal ads today). Not that I mind, actually, I really enjoy placing legal ads. But the other shit, I can do without. Kerry was out again, and she'll be out for the rest of the week. She's really sick. :(
Poor thing. She must have what Nick has. Hope I don't get it next... I left at 5:00 and picked Nick up from school. We went home and then mom wanted me to come back out with her to run an errand. She had to go get her paycheck from the office. We talked about my writing and how stressed I've been and how tired I am all the time. She said she'd try to help me in whatever way she could, which I appreciate.
When we got back home again, I made myself dinner: taco cups. I put wanton wrappers in a muffin tin, filled the cups with mexican sauteed chicken and cheddar cheese (plus, a little salsa to keep it moist). Popped 'em in the oven for about ten minutes, then topped them with a few more drops of salsa and some shredded lettuce. They were AMAZING. Mom and dad loved them, and so did I.
We're gonna try making them with different ingredients, too: pizza cups, Italian cups, dessert cups. I'm excited! <3 We watched The Middle (where the title of this post is from), Suburgatory, and Harry's Law. All were quite good. I took a shower and, now, it's time for bed.
