Don't Give Me the Goatee of Intimidation, All Right?
Hello people!
Today was Friday!
I was feeling better about the day from the start, of course. I went to work and was sorta steadily busy all day. Not too overwhelmed, thankfully, but I didn't really have free time to write. :\ I had a great lunch; a hot dog, french fries and a coffee from The Cafe. So good. I also called a local police department and left a message on the Captain's machine about shadowing a detective.
He wasn't in today, but I wanted to connect on that before I forgot about it. It's for the new show I'm working on. >:] After that, I went back to work and just waited for the day to end, really. Finally, it did, and I went home. I fed the pets dinner and teh rents came home shortly after that. We went out to my tattoo appointment and got there just in time. It was so fucking great to see The Tattoo Man again.
I love that goddamn place so much. And all the guys there are just awesome. <3 Plus, TTM was wearing all black, which is, like, my biggest turn-on, lol. It was lovely. XD We chatted a little, he told me he liked my writing (I gave him a free copy of TSC) and he was just about to start my tattoo when the power went out. *facepalm* It was out for about 15-20 minutes, and we were gonna leave when it came back on!
:D YAY! So, I sat back down and we got started. It hurt. I mean, I got it on my wrist, so the middle (near the vein, there) really hurt, just like with my coffee and books tattoo, and up near my hand hurt, but the rest of it was fine. That part, though, was the most painful a tat's ever been. Don't ever get your first tattoo on your wrist. Unless you like pain or something, then, by all means.
Anywho, we finished up about an hour later and this was the final product:
I love it so much. The Tattoo Man is a genius. I paid him and hugged him (EEE! <3) and then we were on our way. We stopped for gas on the way home, but that only took a few minutes. When we got back, we watched Nikita and Blue Bloods. Title of this post is from the former. Both were quite good. I took a shower and now, it's really time for bed. I'm so damn tired.
