You Know What Happens? Schmidt Happens!
Hello people!
I apologize.
I have been failing with my blog the past few weeks. I've found that staying up to write it is impossible. I'm so tired all the time already, staying up and trying to remember my day just makes it worse. I can't say I'm sorry enough. I mean, I'm sure you're not hanging on every word I say, but I feel awful not updating every night. I think I might start doing this as a morning thing.
Blog about the previous day the following morning (so, for example, blog about tonight tomorrow morning). That way, I'm not rushing to get it done at night...I like that better. Anywho, this morning was awful. I was so dead tired when I got up, I just wanted to go back to sleep. It was dark and rainy outside, which, of course, just makes me wanna sleep more. I got ready to go and headed to work.
It was a long, long day. I kept thinking it was Thursday. That only made it worse. Fucking Wednesdays suck. Um, at lunch, mom came by and brought me a sandwich, then we went to The Cafe and I bought her a muffin and a coffee for myself. We sat in the parking lot together, talking about books and writing and things we had to do and just everything. It was so much fun, easily the best part of my day.
I did a LOT of work today. It was the busiest day of the week thus far. Hoping things slow down again so I can write, cuz I have a fuck-ton of writing to get done in very little time. At 5:00, I went to pick Nick up from school. We got home around 5:40 and we had dinner with teh rents in the kitchen. Finger foods! Good stuff. AND, part of my order from Amazon arrived: Bioshock: Rapture and The 7th Guest: A Novel!
Mom ordered Lance Henriksen's Not Bad for a Human, so I'm pretty stoked. We watched some TV; The Middle, Suburgatory, Harry's Law. I expected Suburgatory to be awful, but it was fucking hilarious. I really liked it! :D I'm looking forward to it next week. I took a shower, put the dishes away and now, it's time for bed. Real quick, though: title of this post is from last night's ep of The New Girl.
It was significantly better than the pilot. Hilarious and awesome and I'm also looking forward to that. Also, today, Kerri said, "I feel like a French whore," at work. I think it's better without the context.
