Got up at the ushe time, got ready to go, etc. Things were really busy computer-wise, today, but not so busy on the phones, which is unusual. It was because of the weather for this weekend, though. Most of our ads are garage sale ads, and people aren't doing sales as much cuz it's sposed to pour down rain all weekend (and for the next week, actually).
I was doing legals literally all day. At lunch, I met mom and dad at the hot dog place down the street from work. They make amazing food there, believe it or not. Best fries ever. It was a blast, and I hated going back to work. I did more legals until 4:30, when our entire computer system crashed. The internet wouldn't work, the ad system we use was frozen. We couldn't do anything.
We had to just sit there and wait for people to call to tell them that we couldn't place their ads. How fucking dumb is that? At least earlier in the day, I'd gotten a chance to catch up on Sad Sad Conversations. There were a LOT of posts in the past few days, including one from the newest member, BD Wong! :D He was Henry Wu in Jurassic Park, so, of course, I was pretty damn excited!
I tweeted about it, and he RT'd me! <3 SQUEE! Title of this post is from Phil's latest vid. Sad Sad Conversations makes me so damn (ironically?) happy.
I went home at 5:00 and almost immediately took a nap, lol. I didn't really sleep well last night. :3 It was nice. I rejoined teh rents in the living room and we watched Jeopardy!, Person of Interest and Prime Suspect. I was disappointed with POI and Prime Suspect, actually. I expected more from them. POI, I think, was just sorta poorly done. And I don't really like Michael Emerson's character.
There was a lot I didn't like about it, actually. As for Prime Suspect, it was really just kind of boring. I think it was in part because it was the pilot, and they showed us Maria's transition into her new job, which is almost always dull for any show. The first case was pretty boring, too. So, here's hoping it picks up in the future. I took a shower and now, I'm going to bed.
